Ah, to be in Paris...

I met Sophie, aka 'Thrifting Girl', on flickr. We became fast friends, albeit, far away friends, and enjoy sharing photographs with each other and commenting on our common interests. She tries to teach me bits of French, and I explain English slang. That's the beauty of the flickr community, you make friends all over the world. How cool is that? Whenever I see her latest posts I get inspired. And she is the queen of Paris thrifting, thus her very appropriate alias. So I thought today, we'd take a wee stroll through the streets of beautiful Paris through the eyes of the lovely Sophie and do a little window shopping.

You find the best images on Flickr - almost everyone you link to I end up favoriting. I don't know how you do it, but I sure am glad you do!

That's very funny for me to see those pictures. Not that I already knew them... But I can tell exactly where they were taken. As a matter of fact I spent the whole summer rue Vielle du Temple, in Le Marais, a famous, beautyful and trendy district in Paris and the windows you see actually belonged to the shops nextdoor (well for most of the pictures). As if you had been spying on me when I was there !
