Purses Are A Girl's Best Friend.

Becky, the beloved Atlanta-based blogger from Design Public's Hatch shared her 'purse room' on flickr a while back. I was reminded of it, telling a friend about the luxury of having one whole room, or even a shelf devoted to purses and bags of all colors, shapes and sizes. Being a bit of bag hound myself, I think this is a well-organized, perfectly acceptable room to have of one's own. Flat screens and Sunday afternoon sports be damned! We'll have a Lazy Boy propped right in front of our purse shelf for admiring, and of course, choosing which is the outfit-appropriate and perfect bag for the day. Lovely, most excellent idea Becky!

Don't all our purses deserve such treatment? I am so not showing this to mine. They would be way to jealous.

Gorgeous. So I'm not the only crazy one that starts drooling at a well-designed boutique decor, thinking how great it would look in my house with MY clothes on display. :P This post reminds me too of Laura's beautiful vintage purses.

I'm green of envy. I've been dreaming of a walk-in closet, now I see a great idea for my precious handbags.

Thanks Victoria! I'm never sure if I should be ashamed of my pursery, but what the heck? The room makes me so happy, and saves countless hours of searching through drawers and untangling straps on hooks before I go out :)

Too funny (and fantastic!). I have to share this with my husband. I'm recovering from hip surgery and my husband was kind enough to take me shopping for a handbag (can't drive yet). We looked all over the place and found success. Now he's an expert on handbags, too.

I'm so jealous that she found the space for this closet. I need one, too. I must admit I've got one for my shoes. The bags need their own. I'm sure my fantastic husband will understand.

"Oh, Honeeee!"

It's me again. I'm so tired today, which is why I'm so slow to realize that I have to share this with my readers over at Design Hole.
