Many Thanks to Sunset!

The new March issue of Sunset Magazine is out on newsstands and I made page 84! I just want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the writer Jess Chamberlain for such a nice write up, and to home photo editor Sue Smith, the photographer Tom Story, his photo assistant Jennifer Tong for such a fun shoot. What a great day we had, and you've put together a story I am really so proud of and made my place look so nice. And, as long-time Sunset subscribers, my parents are even more proud!! So thank you all so much!

After viewing the souless House of Ideas, I was delighted to find the article on your place. Wow, a place where a real person lives! Now if only the SF Chronicle would feature some of those places in their home magazine.

thank you anon. to the chronicle's credit, anh-minh did an article on my place awhile back:

I'm new to your blog, but I'm a Sunset subscriber -- and I think you bought some of your Craigslist stuff from me in 2006! It's so exciting to see my white woolly carpet and two white vinyl armchairs again -- looking very nice in their new home!

Congratulations on the article, and on your sense of style.

Oh fun! Do you live in Orinda? Yes, your home was fab and I love my rug and chairs!

Nicole R. said...

Yup, that's me! So glad you're still enjoying them. I forget what I asked for the chairs, but considering my husband had originally bought both of them for $10 at an estate sale, I think everyone ended up a winner. :)
