Friday, February 29

Oh, and happy, happy Friday.

Okay, so I'm pretty much walking on cloud ninety-nine-hundred after my morning at The Legion of Honor with Annie Leibovitz. It is a very, happy, happy Friday for me, indeed and I have come away from this morning's press conference so inspired!! I will post a full report, along with a slew of photographs, on Monday, but I wanted to share this image of Annie Leibovitz I was able to capture after the tour. This is Annie next to her favorite photograph - a portrait of her mother, unsmiling - which is a story unto itself, and which I will elaborate more about on Monday. I was so thrilled to be a part of this tour today, and am contemplating rushing out to buy a new camera, like right-this-instant. Have a great weekend everyone, and check back Monday to share in my inspiration.

well david, i have been asking myself that since i left there. maybe a digital back for my Nikon? any recommendations from you? a Leica? anything has got to be better than the little sony cybershot 7 i am using. although, she has been faithful, and small, so i take her everywhere.

Wait until April and get the new Canon Rebel XSi. Its going to be great. An easy to use DSLR. Google the name and you can read all about it. Thats the one I've been waiting for. BTW thats a super great shot you took of A.L. You should be very proud! Wish I could have been there, but it's a long bus ride from Toronto. :-P
