I'll admit it, I have chair envy. I love chairs, the unique way they are designed, the curves, and the shapes of them. And I love them mixed and matched. I was cruising the Domino flickr pool and I found these beauties. I wanted to share. I love the idea of a singular chair, a stand out among many, gracing a hallway, or a special corner of what might have been just an ordinary, lonely spot. Normally, nobody puts baby in a corner...but in this case, it's just so cool.

Ooooh, I've been eyeing the madeline chair at Anthropologie. Now you really make me want to go and grab it. And yes, I love a mix of chairs too.

I am a chair collector as well. I have about 8 in the workshop waiting redesign and repair. They come from trash piles and everywhere. I hope to have a chair show at my gallery next year. A

ReplyDeleteomg! i feel kinda star-struck! i'm so happy you posted my favorite blue chair. i bought it on craigslist via some fratboy who got it from his grandmother. it was only $40 and it's soooo comfortable.
