April in Paris.

I've been daydreaming a lot of Paris lately. Long lazy days, sitting in cafes, people watching, camera snapping, shopping, dozing in parks, and of course, evenings under the glow of the infamous Paris lights. Hmmm, it all sounds so good. I found this fun little book at Anthropologie the other day, just more inducement to inspire my lofty daydreams, Chic & Trendy Paris. It's a great little book, thoroughly filled with smart and stylish insider shopping tips, and a guide to fifty-four of Paris' best boutiques and vintage shops. Chic & Trendy Paris, by Adrienne Ribes-Tiphaine, is just so up my Parisian back alley. Here's a sneak peek...and now, pardon moi, back to my daydreams.

I picked this book up about two months ago. Vogue had a little article on it in Jan or Feb. I love the photos, they give you an idea of what is really in the store.

Thanks for the tip on the book. My 24 yr. old daughter is moving to Paris in July and I would love to give her this book to scout out the shopping for us when I come to stay in September...I am so very excited for her, an opportunity of a lifetime. - Shelley
