I posted last week about the Obama's selection of
Michael S. Smith as the New White House interior designer. Well, then I heard from photographer
Andrea Wyner, that her very good friend
Maria Trimbell is
Mr. Smith's go-to artist, when it comes to the
incredibly beautiful murals he includes in his interiors. I took one look at
Maria's equally lovely website, and knew I had to share.
Maria's work has an ethereal quality to it I find very peaceful, and calming to these interiors. With over a decade's experience,
Maria Trimbell is based in Los Angeles, but accepts commissions all over the world, and is a trusted resource to designers and clientele, with major projects in New York, Venice, Italy and Mallorca, and Maria is also accepting commissions in the Bay Area.

Can you imagine what it might feel like if she should be commissioned to paint a mural on a White House wall? I have a feeling the Obama's may be in need of some peaceful retreats, so I for one, hope it happens, and
Maria's murals become a piece of incredible White House history.

insanely gorgeous
ReplyDeleteHer work would be fabulous in the White House! Here's hoping Michelle's budget allows for it!

Just so intricately beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat´s just beautiful
ReplyDeleteThese are some of the most beautiful murals I've ever seen. You're right Victoria. It would be wonderful to see one of these in the White House.
ReplyDeleteHa! My first painting "job" was painting springtime murals on glass store fronts. I was 9 years old and I was working with my art teacher. They looked nothing like this of course. I can't imagine the patience this kind of work requires. Very very talented, this lady.
ReplyDeleteMurals are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me some ancient buildings, here in my town, with rooms completely covered by frescos of landscape and gardens.
