Patrick Printy Visits California Home & Design.

My dear friend, and talented interior designer and art director Patrick Printy is featured in the current California Home & Design's February/March issue. The California Home & Design article focuses on Pat's wonderful shopping tips in and around the East Bay, where he shares his favorite shopping haunts in the neighborhood in which he currently lives. You can read all about Pat's favorite Bay Area shops here on the CHD website.

Patrick Printy and I met many years ago, while working in advertising, but his talents and passion for design and architecture soon took him into the world of art direction for interiors. First at Williams-Sonoma, working on creative development, designing their Pottery Barn catalogs, website, and advertising, as well as working on Pottery Barn's line of design books.

Pat eventually went freelance and worked for a number of local home related companies, including Restoration Hardware, Method Home, and art.com. While freelancing Pat was also doing home design projects on the side - some interior design and some interior architecture, including kitchen and bath remodels, which is what he truly loves - creating a home both through structure and furnishings. I wanted to share some his beautiful work on one of his own homes, in the East Bay, and will be sharing more of Pat's lovely interior design work on his new home being built in Glen Ellen. To contact Pat for a interior design project of your own, please visit his website.
