Green Gardens Under Glass.

Terrariums are back in a big way, and artist Kat Geiger makes really unique and beautiful wee gardens under glass. Kat has an upcoming show, this Saturday, April 18 from 2-5pm at Urban Indigo in Oakland. Each of Kat's terrariums are like little living works of art, miniature gardens planted in re-purposed glass bottles and pretty jars. You can also find Kat's beautiful terrariums at The Gardener in the San Francisco Ferry Building and in her etsy shop, Green Under Glass. Stop by the show for a peek at Kat's terrariums, some live music and refreshments.

I love these. I've wanted to make one for the longest time but I think I'll just buy one of her instead. Thanks!

Me thinks me needs a lil' terrarium. They're so lovely looking and, like Rachel, I'm diggin' the hanging ones! Love the little houses tucked in too. :)

I had a terrarium in 4th grade. I missed it for a while, then forgot about it. Now I miss it again. I might have to consider making one. Now just to find a gorgeous container... thanks for sharing this. :)
