The home I stayed at in Glen Ellen this weekend had a lovely collection of pale aqua pottery and white ceramic dinnerware and serving pieces, and it got me to thinking I needed a few more to add to my own collection (above). So I went exploring to see what I might find, both on
Flickr, and on
Etsy, both newly handcrafted and vintage. Here's a look at some great inspiration for displaying your decorative vases and pottery, and those festive serving pieces too pretty to store away, as well as some
Etsy shops that are great for finding new pieces to add to your own collections.
Glen Ellen Home.
All so simple. Lovely and elegant. I'm in love with my white walls lately.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Whitney Smith. She's so inspiring. I wish I still had access to a ceramics studio- a cupcake stand was always on my "to do" list.
ReplyDeleteI'm ordinarily a full color kind a gal, but have been gravitating towards white (and white on white) lately. These pictures are beautiful.

ReplyDeletei love that clock. would it be ruined if one was to paint it a color, like powder pink or seafoam blue?
ReplyDeleteandrea - hard to say, but if you masked it off carefully, i think you could paint it. perhaps take it to your local hardware store and ask what paint would be best to use.
ReplyDeletethis post makes me very happy.
