Thanks Angie!

I want to express my heartfelt appreciation to San Francisco photographer Angie Cao. Angie came over and photographed my apartment today for an upcoming House Tours coffee table book Apartment Therapy is putting together in collaboration with publisher, Chronicle Books. I was honored to be asked to be included in the book, however didn't quite feel my photography skills were up to par! So the very talented Angie came to the rescue and did a truly professional job! If you've ever cruised my flickr photostream you may already recognize Angie's work - she's the one responsible for the beautiful photos I posted of my friend Eszter of Emma Rose Papery's home (which has been favorited by more people than any other of my photos). If you should need something photographed beautifully, Angie is your girl. Here's a glimspe of her lovely work from her online portfolio.

Congratulations on the AT book selection. I'm sure with Angie taking the photos it will be even more stunning than it is already.

Congrats Victoria! That's awesome, and such an honour. The pics you posted of Angie's are breathtaking, so I can only imagine what kind of pics she can take of your place.

This is the best news, wow - I'm very excited to hear about AT's new book and the Chronicle deal... That is excellent, Maxwell is amazing. He has built such a dedicated following, I'm certain this book will fly off the shelves. So many of us love picture books and home tours of 'real' spaces, that this will be a real hot sell. A big HIGH FIVE, I can't wait to see how Angie shot your space, it must have been wonderful to work with her.

Are those shots of your place? It is amazing how a place you live in everyday can seem ultra cool and home journal worthy through a talented photogs lense. Great stuff.

No, these shots are from Angie's portfolio. I'm saving the images she shot of my place for the book. :)
