Finders Keepers. Losers Weepers.

As you know, my constantly revolving apartment decor requires that to bring one new thing in; one old thing must go out (they tell me this is mandatory). So I recently gave up my Nelson-like bench on craigslist to a lovely couple. They wrote to me, apparently to rub in what an idiot I am sometimes when I sell something I love:

"This is Josh...my fiance and I bought the George Nelson-style slat bench from you a month or so ago. Just thought I'd send along a picture of the bench in our new living room in Berkeley. We bought the chair, the sofa, the bench, and rug for less than $300 combined. Thanks for the great bench. Dawn and I also like your blog very much!"
All best,
Joshua & Dawn
Berkeley, CA

Is it totally rude to want to take it back? It looks great!!! Nice job guys!

Speaking of which, look for more of my idiocy on my online flea market Petite Flea returning soon. I haven't had much time for it lately, but it's revival is imminent.

Yay for the return of Petite Flea...I can't wait. Can I put in a pre-order? Just kidding. Sort of.

That's so cool that they e-mailed you pics. of your bench in their space. I think that's such a nice gesture, even if it makes you want it back. Can't wait to see what Petite Flea is all about.

Yeah, we bought the sofa and chair from a really nice guy, obviously a design nut, who was moving to Berkeley from his house in Vallejo. We got the sofa and the chair for $200 (asking price on craigslist) and couldn't believe it.

Oh my! The sofa and chairs are great! Do you happen to know the designer of these?
