Words To Live By.

I saw this great poster art on Poppytalk's Affordable Art This Week and just fell in love with it. I think I've always been a bit of a dreamer, so it just spoke to me. And the really cool thing about it, is that it's from the folks at BlueFlip Art. I hadn't heard about BlueFlip until reading Jan's post and it's such of lovely idea and a great way to buy art.

BlueFlip's mission is to provide us with affordable art and help some excellent and well-deserved charities in the process. You simply browse their collection of available prints and choose one of your liking. BlueFlip will create a high quality print using an eight color archival ink process on heavy fine art paper and safely ship it out to you. They then donate 10% of your purchase to a charity of the artist's choice.

For instance, all donations from purchases of Sauerkids' prints (above) go
to War Child International, a network of independent organizations,
working across the world to help children affected by war.

Donations from the purchase of Brian Taylor's sassy work
go to the International Red Cross.

I really like this idea - put your money where your art is.

I LOVE Eduardo Recife's work! I've been following him (silently, online) for years and years, but I had no idea he was selling prints through BlueFlip. Thank you for the inspiration -- I'm off to place an order right now.
