Many Thanks to Sunset!
The new March issue of Sunset Magazine is out on newsstands and I made page 84! I just want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the writer Jess Chamberlain for such a nice write up, and to home photo editor Sue Smith, the photographer Tom Story, his photo assistant Jennifer Tong for such a fun shoot. What a great day we had, and you've put together a story I am really so proud of and made my place look so nice. And, as long-time Sunset subscribers, my parents are even more proud!! So thank you all so much!

The photos on Sunset's website look beautiful. Well done Victoria; your home ought to feature in every magazine, every issue - I never tire of admiring it!

After viewing the souless House of Ideas, I was delighted to find the article on your place. Wow, a place where a real person lives! Now if only the SF Chronicle would feature some of those places in their home magazine.
thank you anon. to the chronicle's credit, anh-minh did an article on my place awhile back:

I'm new to your blog, but I'm a Sunset subscriber -- and I think you bought some of your Craigslist stuff from me in 2006! It's so exciting to see my white woolly carpet and two white vinyl armchairs again -- looking very nice in their new home!
Congratulations on the article, and on your sense of style.
Oh fun! Do you live in Orinda? Yes, your home was fab and I love my rug and chairs!
Yup, that's me! So glad you're still enjoying them. I forget what I asked for the chairs, but considering my husband had originally bought both of them for $10 at an estate sale, I think everyone ended up a winner. :)
congratulations on your lovely article... it is always so fun to get wonderful press. i love your "white" home...mine has alot of white and pale color...always fun to see new environments.... you can see mine go to www.redticking.com and ck out press. we have similar tastes! all the best to you...
