Veuillez entrer!
So...as promised...the wall that is pink no longer! It was fun while it lasted, but it was time to surrender the pink! And welcome...Silver Cloud! I actually saw this color painted on the walls of Perch, a cute shop in Glen Park, and knew then and there, the pink was history. Time for something a little more soothing, and easy on the eye. Without further adieu, the new look.

I love the picture of the green chair (I think that's what it is...). Where is it from?
in french we say Veuillez entrer ;)
darn bablefish translator! ;)
merci!
this is just beautiful, I love it.
rosemary - the green chair is a gift from Jo at desire to inspire. here is her etsy shop:

Beautiful color. We used grays in our entry way and I love it. It is so soothing and yet because it's gray it is a little surprise for visitors too.
beautiful home! The colors work well for Northern California...I'm in Arizona where a silver cloud doesn't really seem "right" with the goldens, the blues, the oranges that our light gives off in the southwest--but fabulous furnishings!
I love the new wall but also LOVE calla lilles.. they make any setting just stunning. They were my wedding flower. Love them.
i love the new wall. i didn't like the pink too much. i can't wait to close on my new SF apartment! I'll have a view like yours!!
happy spring.
Gorgeous! I love the color and the way you've displayed the frames.
like the new color and look but miss the coral a bit. What was that paint color called?
Your place is adorable! Where did you get the console and mirror?
I loved the infamous pink wall, but this gray is quite exquisite...so soothing as well. And of course you still have some nice pops of pink sprinkled in. Just lovely!
It very much has an SF feel to it. *sigh* :)

Thanks guys!
Anon - the coral pink was one I mixed up myself using a pink base. I didn't like it, so I kept adding acrylic paints to it to get the hue I liked.
Stylish Bird - the mirror is an etsy find, and the console I found for $5 at a yard sale many years ago. It was covered with paint and I stripped and sanded it.
Your home is amazing and lovely! I wondered if you had any pieces by my father, Paul McCobb?
Love the new fresh spring re do.. so fresh and pretty.
I had a grey bedroom, the pain was called Silver Tradition - It was really nice with the bright reds I have. This looks great, I love the flowers as well!
Melissa, Paul McCobb was your father??? I live in Cambridge, MA and have a small place full of his designs, and I wish I had room for more. Have been collecting his designs since college. I would love to connect with you. Jill
Melissa,
Oh, I wish I had some of your father's beautiful furniture! You don't think this piece is one of his, do you? It's origin is unknown to me!
Gorgeous! You're home's new spring wardrobe is fabulous!
The new color is perfect - really soothing and subtle. And the way your art is arranged on the wall is, well...so artful!
