Flippin' for These!

Blue Flip Art has new work from Melbourne-based artist Kareem Rizk and I am loving them. I am a big fan of Kareem's bird prints, but these are fun in a whole new light. Maybe it's because I learned to drive in my mum's Country Squire Station Wagon way back when, but these just remind me of my San Fernando Valley adolescence! Funny that he's from Australia!

Kareem is a Melbourne based collage artist and designer whose working techniques and mediums include collage, acrylic, oil pastel, pencil, solvent transfers and acrylic transfers. He creates highly textured and often multi-layered images, predominantly with a nostalgic or vintage and weathered quality. As always, you'll feel good buying, knowing that 10% of the BlueFlip purchase price gets donated to a charity of the artist's choice.

These are great graphic pieces! Reminds me a bit of Eduardo Recife...and that is a good thing! Can't wait to look over more of Kareem's work!

And great to know about Blue Flip's 10% for charity policy! :)
