Look! New Colors!

To continue with my fixation with gray of late, I've done a new color version of the Keep Calm & Carry On poster in a lovely charcoal gray. It's quite handsome, if I do say so myself. I've also done a nice, neutral chocolate brown, for those of you not so anxious to hang brightly colored posters in your homes, like the chartreuse, orange or pink! You can find them in my etsy shop. Enjoy!

yes, the grey is nice! Was the original WWII poster in grey?
Hey, I've been meaning to tell you SFgirl that here in Melbourne, Australia, our National Gallery of Victoria stocks mugs, aprons and tea towels with your 'keep calm' design. You are travelling far and wide. I can't view at work (firewall blocks anything that sounds interesting) so am limited to rationed views at home.

Best wishes
Jenny, Aus

jenny - i don't think gray was ever used in the original - just the red. and the design is not mine - it is actually unknown who originally designed it and is why the image is Public Domain, and is able to be reproduced by so many people. it was designed during the blitz, but then never used, as it was towards the end of the war, and the bombings had stopped (at least that's the story i've heard). :)

How long do they usually take to ship internally? I love them and ordered myself one in green a couple of weeks ago... love the grey as well!

It takes anywhere from 1-2 weeks internationally, depending on customs etc. I mail them 1st Class Parcel Post.

Thanks!

thanks for explaining that! i thought whenever i saw it, it was yours! i still like yours best!

hope you feel much better soon. it can b tricky - i had keyhole surgery a few monthsago and i think that mademe think i'd be up and about more quickly. i guess i was, but i underestimated the effect of the surgery and the anaesthetic. take it easy :0)

Great saying and graphics. MY new motto. That's for sure. I don't wear t-shirts with sayings but I most certainly wear this one.
