Sunday in the City.

I spent some of my weekend at a BBQ extraordinaire at my friends' amazing Pacific Heights home. Their beautiful Victorian home was turning a grand 100 years old, so why not celebrate in birthday style, complete with cupcakes and cotton candy machine? Here's a peek at their gorgeous, old, and yet completely modern home.

Pink Globes of Goodness.

Stained Glass.

Fancy Mantle.

Ornate Entry.

New York Numbers.

Sweet Noguchi.

Brick & Morter.

Happy Antlers.

Visually inspiring and her writing was delightful! Click to my blog and comment if you know who I'm talking about!!! I swear I found it from here, but ummm..

WOW, what a beautiful house! I love what they did with the living room, fabulous juxtaposition of modern furniture with the grand fireplace (great color choice, too!). Thanks for the peek into their place. What a gem and deserving of the grand party!

Beautiful house! Do you know where they got their light fixture in the sixth picture (next to the cupcakes)?

Miriam - it's a Noguchi, so perhaps DWR. It's a big one - like 5' across!!
