Sunday in the City.

Okay, right off the bat, I'm gonna fess up, this is really Saturday in the City, but you don't really care, now do you? I met friends at the San Francisco Ferry Building Marketplace for a little lunch and the Saturday Farmer's Market. Gosh, it was just glorious out, with the sun beaming down, and all the fresh, beautiful produce and flowers proudly smiling up at us all. Crowded, to be sure, (be seen, be seen buying organic produce!) but fun and full of happy, shiny people.

Hey, the poet guy!! I saw him on tv a while back, very cool and would love to bump into him one day and get a poem.

Lovely post, made my mouth water for all that yummy fresh fruits and veg! A trip to SF is in the near future, can't wait, I've been aching to be back in the bay area and long for it a bit more with each and every post!

ah! I saw the portable poet the last time I went the market, too. Does he give you whatever he's just written, or does he write something on the spot for you?

sfgirlbybay said...

karl - you just give him a subject and he writes it on the spot. :)
