I was so sad to hear he passed away today. He was one of the good guys.

Yes it is sad, because he was such a good guy. That is such a gorgeous picture of him I loved him in HUD and so many other movies

One of the greats. He never seemed pretentious or unapproachable. Hollywood and the world will be sadder without him.
He was one of the best , one of the last giants . When you look at Hollywood nowadays , nobody can fit his shoes . In Europe he was very popular and admired , and not only for his good looks . Good bye , Mr Newman .We will miss you .
he was a real class act and those eyes. i'll never forget the scene in 'cool hand luke' when he eats all of those eggs. i enjoy all of his movies. rip, mr. newman.
Truly a sad day for cinema! Not to forget all of the great charities Paul Newman was involved in. He will be missed in many ways.
