Sunday in the City.
Labor Day Weekend - huh, what a concept. I never seem to accomplish anything close to labor over this holiday, and proudly admit to being completely lazy. I had a long laundry list of things to do. Here's a look at what I did manage to do, and then mostly what I didn't do.

That wood vase is fantastic!
Love, love, love!!!!
Where is that white lacy file from? Love it!
littlebrownpen - that vase is just from Cost Plus Imports and they still carry it.
Anon - the white file bin is actually a bike basket from Design House Stockholm: http://www.designhousestockholm.com/site/

that's exactly it, holly! :)
Now that's my kind of labouring...love your herb garden!!
Where is your herb planter from? I actually spent the weekend looking for something unique to plant my herbs in! I didn't come across anything I liked enough.
Hayley - it's just a $1 tin tray I found at the flea market.
what about the lovely flowery file folders? i've been looking for something pretty like this...
tracey - i'm not sure of the brand, but they have them all over these days...maybe barnes & noble has them.
I'll add my name to the list of people who love your herb planter! I always see that bicycle basket in a store window when I'm visiting melbourne, and I consider it, then don't buy it. Then I see a lovely photo of it, like yours, and I go and wish I'd bought again! Ah, circles.
I love it, you have to relax once in a while and you got a couple of things done so good enough.
It looks like a lovely holiday weekend :) I LOVE your herbs planter! It is beautiful re-purpose project -- and a perfect impromptu centerpiece.
Your photographs are beautiful! Looks like you had a perfect weekend.
I love the photo interpretation of your weekend- and really, isn't that how a weekend should be? Relaxed and enjoyed. I especially appreciated the "napping accomplished" part; sometimes there is nothing better!
oh...i love the way you planted your herbs.
