Surfin' Photo Safari.

Maybe it's my So Cal roots, growing up near the beach and ditching school whenever possible to get to the beach and bask in the sun, but I've always had a weakness for surfers. Call it my downfall, I'm sure my parents would! So, when photographer Robert Reader from Cornwall, England send me a link to the latest work in his isofoto etsy shop, I got pretty excited.

When the sun decided to shine over there in Cornwall (and Robert says that wasn't too often this year), isofoto shot these wonderful surf images with his vintage SX-70 Polaroid camera. I love Polaroids and I love these images, so I wanted to share. You can shop for Robert's images in his isofoto etsy shop, and see more of his lovely work in his online gallery.

Beautiful! And I love that you used the word "ditch." Here in Utah, they say "slough" and it sounds so 1950's to me!

I bought some of his work as a gift to my sister in law and her husband and they were GORGEOUS.

Isophoto is one of my favorite etsy sellers. There is something about his use of color that gets me. Lots of turquoise and red. And of course the vintage appeal is fantastic.

Those photographs are so gorgeous. I grew up surfing - where I come from we were referred to as "surfies". And my dream was to have a BMW 2002 in dolphin grey - those photographs bring back such great memories and some hazy ones - if ya know what I mean.
