Blue Mood.

In the best kind of blue moods! I am so proud and happy.
I hope the country will pull behind our new President and
we'll all feel a great sense of humanity and hopefulness.

I went to bed with a huge smile on my face and woke up to find it still there. Definitely the best kind of blue I have felt in a long time.

Congrats from Canada! We were glued to CNN last night. This election has restored the worlds' faith in America. What a beautiful thing. We need leaders like Obama in our country.

but yes to prop8 ? I am flabbergasted

Come up to Canada -- there is no such bias as Prop 8 up here in our country. We embrace everyone equally. That is our Obama. May we all unite as one.

honestly, i never put anything too political on the blog, because, well i don't want to get in your face about my own beliefs and postions on issues. so i did this with some trepidation, but also with a strong sense of pride and hope. i was so happy that no one was offended, and instead, felt the same sense of excitement so many of us are feeling. thank you so much for your inspiring thoughts and comments.

and, thank you for requesting i make a print, but these are flickr faves, and i don't own these images, so i am unable to do that. nice thought, though - thanks!

oh, and yes to Prop 8 was a huge disappointment. i had hoped for more humanity from californians.

I was completely shocked to yes on Prop 8. I agree, I thought Californians were more progressive than that.

Congratulations from France ! Mr Obama has a tough job ahead of him and I cross my fingers that he lives up to the American people's ( and the world's...) expectations .
