Chronicle This Sale!

Maverick's, by Matt Warshaw.

Chronicle Books is one of my very favorite independent book publishers, and is located right here in San Francisco. Chronicle publishes all kinds of amazing books, including fine art, photography and architectural books, arts & craft guides, cook books, journals, postcards and notecards. And each year at the holiday season Chronicle Books offer up their Friends & Family discount, which I take full advantage of because I love both giving, and receiving books as gifts. All of their books are 35% off, with free shipping! Some of my favorites holiday gift ideas are shown here.

A Year of Mornings,
by Maria Alexandra Vettese
and Stephanie Congdon Barnes.

Simply enter FAMILY in the discount code box at checkout. The sale lasts through Friday, December 5th, which should be plenty of time to poke around Chronicle's online catalog before the end of the week.

Moleskin City Notebooks, and City Walks,
both available for most major cities.

Thanks so much for sharing this with us! I just went to order a Year of Mornings, but it's on backorder, and the code doesn't apply to backordered books :(

Anon - you should write to them, because I was told everything was on sale!

Anon - I got the same message. I called them, and they didn't seem to know about the promo, but thought that it might be because the book I wanted was out of stock. Maybe that's what happened to yours?
