A New Girl in Town.

I found some great vintage art at the Alameda Flea Market last weekend, and a new addition to my ever growing family. Meet Mirabella, Rico's half sister from Havana. Mirabella and Rico's mother has taken ill, so Mirabella has come to join the family for a time. She's a little sorrowful and homesick right now, but Rico and Emma Lou hope to cheer her up with a little of Rico's bongo playing, and it's certainly always entertaining when Leo nods off.

In addition to beautiful Mirabella, I picked up this fun little
seascape, a bit cheesy, and yet endearing (at least to me).

I also discovered this fantastic $5 find, which reminds me of a
Diane Arbus image. Isn't she just awful, in the very best of ways?

Wow! You made some gorgeous purchases there! I love the sea scape - it's very evocative in it's simplicity, isn't it?
