Shop for Change.

I think this Tuesday was an amazing day. Not just here in America, but all over the world people were inspired by our new President. One person, was collage artist Meg McGrath, and she wrote me about a project she is conducting in honor of President Obama's call to service. Meg will be donating 10% of all sales if her monthly sales total over $100 in her etsy shop to help purchase computers for lower income area schools in America. So, not only can you purchase some lovely artwork to brighten your walls, you can brighten a child's future while you're at it. Very nice, Meg - thank you for sharing! To find out more about how you to can become involved in service to our country, please visit the White House site.

Using all of these technologies to purchase computers for underprivileged kids, what an inspiration!

I hope this is successful for everyone involved.

That is very inspiring. We should all follow Meg and try and do something to get involved and help. Wonderful...

I've reached $100! so together we've raised $10.50 this month - and January isn't over yet!

This is a year long (at least! I'd like to continue it as long as I am able) initiative. I am going to try and get some corporate matching too so together we can make a real difference in the lives of some very deserving children.

Thank you so much, Victoria, for helping me spread the word. You do so much for small businesses and independent artists - you are certainly fulfilling your call to service!

GOD BLESS AMERICA!
