Ode to My Deco: Turquoise.

Today's Part Two in my series Ode to Domino's My Deco Files is all about turquoise in all its glorious shades. I keep hearing turquoise is the new black (in fact, I'll be launching a new Keep Calm & Carry on poster next week in a lovely shade of Tiffany's turquoise). So I perused Domino's My Deco Files to find the chicest turquoise decor they had filed away. By the way, the Domino site says it's keeping the Deco Files up a few more weeks, in order to give you ample time to retrieve images, so download to your hearts content.

I love the green wall, turquoise bookshelf nook with the red pillow. I want to curl up there right now with my new book!

Bravo Victoria! you have chosen some of my personal favorites - I have a "Domino-shaped" hole in my inspirational world -I'm missing it already.

I love the picture of the bed in the nook with the turquoise bookshelf. It's so amazing what a little color can do for a small space!

Beautiful post. I've been loving to go down memory lane as well with Domino.

I also love how different turquoise is used in different rooms.

Love the console in the last picture. I swear I saw something like that at Pier 1. I really wanted it, but it didn't really fit into my home's style.

Turquoise is my favorite color, but my husbands least favorite. We have had to do some compromising over the years so I have only gotten my dose in small amounts.

Needless to say, I loved this post.

i have a love-hate relationship with turquoise, and worry i would tire of it. but these little dashes here and there i just love - especially contrasted with the dark walls.

anon - i don't know, but it may still be on the domino website in the My Deco Files. it's probably a benjamin moore paint, since they usually seem to use those paints.
