Thanks, and Farewell Domino.

I know from all the forlorn comments y'all have posted on my Ode to Domino's My Deco Files how much we are all going to miss Domino Magazine. It just seems a shame, really, that nothing could have been done to save it, before they said goodbye. The last issue of Domino has been sent to subscribers, and hit the newsstands, and as always, they leave us in some serious style. And, I was quite honored and surprised to find my etsy Keep Calm & Carry On Poster gracing page 82, in the lovely home of writer Amy Larocca. Thank you Domino for all your support of sfgirlbybay, and for bringing us all such inspiration and joy. You will be sorely missed. I'll be finishing up with a few more Ode to Domino's My Deco Files and saying a final farewell to Domino this week.

I still can't believe it! This last issue was so beutiful. I've been drooling over that rustic, tropical home...sigh.

After getting the last issue, I had to run out and buy the Domino Big Book of Decorating. It's such a shame that nothing could be done to keep such a great magazine around!

I thought of you as soon as I saw the poster in Domino - I, like many others, have the same poster - purchased from you of course!
Receiving my last Domino issue in the mail was bittersweet - it has been such a bright spot on the landscape of interior design for me - their choices always resonated with me and made me happy.
Thanks for sharing your fabulous photo montages!

This has always been my all time favorite magazine but it's really unfortunate that they have left on such a bitter note for me. Why they thought it appropriate to bill me one last time for a years subscription that they cannot fulfill seems pretty shady.

you should clarify that this poster is not really yours, per se.

anon - there are many people printing this poster - you're right - because this is a reproduction WWII poster and is a public domain image. it is not my design, and i never meant to indicate that, but i have been printing them since feb. 2006, and they are in my etsy shop, if that clarifies it for you. thanks!

I am so sad about it but I did notice your beautiful poster in that kitchen and flagged it. Domino brought me here to sfgirlbybay and I'm so thankful for that too!

I'm a subscriber and haven't received the March issue, but did get the Feb issue. Is there anyone I can contact or should I just buy it at the newsstand?

Anon - I haven't recieved mine, nor has my friend here on the west coast. I'm wondering if they only did regional subscriptions. I don't know - there may be a number for the subscriptions dept. inside the magazine. I haven't looked yet. I went out and bought mine!

Victoria, me again. I just got off the phone with Gourmet (I'm switching my Domino sub. to them rather than get Arch Digest) and the lady I spoke with said that if you don't get the March Issue of Domino by this Sat. its considered late and to give them the call. I asked if they were only mailing to the east coast and she assured me that wasn't the case. Thanks for your great site!

Thanks for the tip, Anon. I'll tell my friend too. I, too, would rather get Gourmet over Arch Digest. I got an Arch Digest this month, and I thought it was strange - I thought maybe it was a comp issue.
