Ode to My Deco: Modern Love.

I think this may be round fifteen of my Ode to My Deco Files, and the Domino'a Deco Files are still hanging in there! Whew, and that's a great thing because there's still so much goodness to gather before the end of Domino's days. It still bums me out, but here's something to cheer us all up - some modern love. Some rather eclectic, very vintage-inspired modern love. Rooms that really are a mixture of modern and vintage with a funky, fun edge. My favorite kind! A mixture of fantastic periods pieces, stylish accessories, unusual lighting fixtures and bright colors, all tied up in one bohemian, kind of glamorous hippie-chic. Here's a look at the latest inspiration I discovered in Domino's My Deco Files.

Thanks for sharing Victoria. This is a wonderful resource.
I have every Domino published, and my plan is to pull out one a month to look at and be re-inspired by the images.
For now, you are helping me through the withdrawal stage.

I always love a combination of old and new - the contrasts of style make them pleasing and welcoming.

This is definitely my absolute favorite batch! I'm bubbling forth with energy to re-do my decor. I want to find the pieces I'm in love with and delicately place them in harmonious spots. Thank you so much for this post! I woke up in extreme pain this morning, but this post has actually lessened the pain! Excited natural endorphins released from my brain, when I eagerly devoured these pictures! Thank you again!

My favorite batch by far, too. Whatever style you're picking up on here, I'm definitely down with it and wish I had the same talent to do this myself. Too much kitsch in here to make it look as glam as these are! Fabulous selections.

A terrific bunch of photos!

Do you by any chance have suggestions for a place to buy an affordable flokati rug?

I looked at Ikea this weekend, but was less than impressed with their version...maybe it just needed a good combing.

I've seen many affordable ones online, but I'm afraid to order one having not seen it in person...any recommendations would be appreciated!

As always, thanks for the inspiration!

I was going to itemise a list of the rooms that it looked like I could be comfortable in, but there were far too many! So gorgeous, thank you so much!
