Time Out With Erin.

Happy Wednesday! It's time to start documenting your inspirations in the form of a scrapbook. Face it, you've always wanted to give it a go, and there's no time like the present. For a swift kick in the pants, check out the scrapbooks of one of my favorite independent fashion labels: Iefke de Roos.

Wouldn't you love to have an organized collection of each creative catalyst in your life? What an invaluable resource this could be. Go get 'em, tigers!

*In case you're unfamiliar, Time Out is the fourth installment of a new Wednesday column brought to you by Erin Loechner, Editor of Design for Mankind...dedicated to tearing you away from behind the computer monitor and on to enjoying the simple things in life. Enjoy! As always, thanks so much Erin!

I'm going to toot my own horn and say head on over to my site and click on "Interesting Scraps" in the Index. I've been doing this for years, although sharing for only a couple of weeks.

Also "Record the Day" has a great take on the inspiration note book.

love it. its so cool to have the inspiration all in one place.. I seem to have scraps of paper, quotes, and photos floating all over the place. to corral them all into one book will be a good challenge.

Like the first commenter, I've been at this for years too but only recently started putting pages online. It's great to see more and more people sharing their scrapbooks/journals.

For some reason i stopped doing a scrapbook years ago and this made look back over them and has inspired me to start again.

Ok, after posting this comment I am tearing myself away from the computer to make some art. Thank you!

Such a great idea. I have been reading about it - forever!! - but always think - and never do. Time to start putting inspirational pages into a scrapbook. Not sure why I've waited - after all, it can be imperfect - it's merely a way to get images into one book! (there. pep talk to self is done.)
