Sfgirlbybay in DIY!

Many, many thanks to the editors at DIY Magazine for featuring my apartment in their Summer 2009 issue. And thanks again to photographer James Carrière and art director/stylist Pat Printy for making my apartment look so lovely, and writer Sandra Soria for such a fun interview! To see a bunch more photos of my place, you can find DIY Magazine at your local book store, supermarket, or neighborhood magazine shop, or subscribe to DIY here.

Never get tired of looking at your light-filled apartment. Have been searching for a similar Murano lamp for the longest time, well, at least since the first time I set eyes on yours...

Thank you!

Jamie - it's from West Elm and was very reasonable and often on sale.

Wow! I especially like the paintings that look like windows over the bed. The whole theme of the bedroom is very interesting! Congrats on being featured!

Kia - thanks so much. those are actually stained glass windows that were here when I moved in. :)

Your home is so beautiful! You have such an amazing taste!

I love all the little details like the three man poster that splashes a bit of orange into the overall look, and the stool at the foot of the bed that makes the entire colour scheme!

Wonderful :)

Good for you! It's so exciting to have followed you all this time and to see all the amazing ways your life changed from blogging. Not the fundamentals, I'm sure - but the fun, pretty bits we all get to see. Congrats, you certainly deserve it!
