Sunday in the City.
Okay, so it alternately poured, and then drizzled rain all weekend long here in San Francisco. Not exactly ideal weather for shooting pictures around town. So, today's Sunday in the City is a bit of a potpourri if you will, of shots around my apartment and then a quick trip to Japantown for a facial and a visit to Kinokuniya Bookstore. Hey, what else are ya gonna do when it's raining all day long?

You made even a rainy day beautiful. I especially love your mantle shot - it's so ethereal and that treasure of the sea is stunning.
Happy Monday!

I adore the first one and the new, old faux mantel. Lovely!
Surprised you missed Alameda. Fewer vendors but still going strong. And actually found some of my favorite things ever yesterday.

This is one of my favorite posts of yours EVER, Victoria! love, love, LOVE the mantel shot, and the ceramics shot is so pretty; something so simple made so evocative is always the sign of a really great eye, I think.
You add joy to an otherwise gray day!
Really great photos! I love visiting San Francisco!
On Saturday, I went to see the ballet! It was so beautiful! Too bad I couldn't to take pictures!
Rain is a great time to take photos. A grey sky is the mother of all soft boxes!
thank you everyone!
and beachgirrl, you're probably right, but it was so damp and chilly out there!
oh and hungry in L.A. - yes, i'm usually there, but i assumed it was rained out. :(
Beautiful photos! The first one is stunning :)
As always, lovely photos Victoria! I enjoyed my first visit to Japantown on my second trip to your wonderful city last weekend. My sister and I are now big fans of Ichiban-Kan... only she's lucky enough to be able to go whenever she wants to. Then again, they now have an online shop, so I'm not totally out of luck!
