Another Look at Liberty.
I shared with you a few weeks ago my visit to Liberty, the beautiful department store in London. Liberty is known for their incredible fabrics, but I wanted to also share these photographs I took of Liberty's amazing and immense wallpaper sample room. I loved how they displayed their beautiful wallpapers in large patchwork panels. Here's another peek at London's lovely Liberty.

Beautiful colorful images, Victoria! Thanks for sharing. :)
Wow, I don't know if I would've been able to leave the wallpaper department once I found it ;)
wow, these are incredible! what awesome patterns, and a fabulous display.
a-m-a-z-i-n-g!!! I'll e in London in 2 weeks again, will visit Liberty for sure!
This is so cool. I thought these were quilts when I first scrolled through...now I want to make one just like that! Super vivid and graphic.
This brought loads of memories to come flooding back. I lived in London for 13 years and on my lunch break would go to Liberty's.... it's a beautiful store.... Tudor looking and very old fashioned... the floor boards even creek when you are wandering around. Another favourite is Fortune & Mason, they don't sell fabric or wallpaper but used to have an amazing antique department.... London is so steeped in history and its easily found in these wonderful old, gorgeous buildings.
Thanks for this post. I actually just posted about London on my blog!

Oops sorry for the typo above - I meant to say Fortnum & Mason...!!
I used to live in London and Liberty was hands down my fav. department store -- besides the fabrics, the entire store was just one great discovery after the next.
This post makes me really sentimental for my old home!
oh my goodness! Thanks for more wonderful inspiration...
