Sunday in the City.
I was out running errands around the city this Sunday, but primarily in the Mission District. I even looked at a few apartment rentals. Call me crazy (everyone else does) but I get this itch every once and a while to move. I like the challenge of something new to decorate, a new neighborhood to explore, and sometimes Pacific Heights, where I live now, just doesn't call to me like some other neighborhoods, like Noe Valley, or parts of the Mission, near Dolores Park. Here's some of what I snapped while out looking for new possibility.

Great photos. Did you take them yourself?
Such great shots! LOVE Full Tilt!
I am so there Victoria... I get that same feeling, in fact, I have it now :)
Love the yellow-ochre squares...
box set. what a winner :)
Oh, how I miss Thrift Town!
Looks like it was sunny in the city yesterday. The coast (half moon bay) was shrouded in fog for like the umpteenth day. Now I wish I had trekked up there for a day of sunshine.
btw ~Which Thrift Town is that? Is it a good one. :)
Great photos, as always!
The picture of the cameras, is that the window of The Curiosity Shoppe? I seem to recall a group of vintage cameras in one of their windows when I was in town from NY in April.
Sunday in the City helps me with my SF withdrawal until I can come out for my next visit!
Great shots!! I love the first and last one!!
Ivory Pearl - yep, these are my photographs.
djames - it's on 17th & mission and it's great!
gemmifer - this is inside photoworks on market st. i was picking up prints - in fact to take to the curiosity shoppe. those were my vintage cameras in their window - from my sunday in the city show. :)
How exciting! Hope you find something fabulous. I hate to move and having recently done it, I don't plan to move for a long time. Lucky I happen to adore my new apartment!
love these photos! especially the last one, the caption made me laugh.
p.s. I gave you an award on my blog! :)
I am always amazed at how colorful the city is... (Here is seems there is only gray, brown or white.) Looks like a lovely day for exploring.
I love the colors in your photos, amazing :)
this makes me homesick. i loved living in noe valley!
beautifu pictures. love the golden building!
lovely photos! man i miss the bay area!
I know what you mean and noe valley certainly is darling but it can get so windy over there. have you considered the sunset? it might be farther away from the action but there is something about it that translate well for us creatives. I should know. I live in outer sunset.
These photos are lovely. I love the one of thrift town and the last one of the yellow building. The city looks so bright and beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, I miss Bi-Rite, plus the Creamery too :) Your pics take me back to my brief stay in SF, the Mission to be exact. Noe Valley is my dream neighborhood :) -dee
Victoria! You'd love Bernal Heights. Lots of artists, awesome park spaces and that great hill to take walks. A tinge of East Bay sprinkled in San Francisco. Very village-like, great shops on Cortland Ave. and next door to the Mission and Noe 'hoods. Check it out!
genevieve - oh, i do love bernal - it's great up there, and i've been looking there, too.
yum! i just had bi-rite creamery for the first time last weekend too. salted caramel, brown sugar with ginger caramelswirl, toasted banana. mmmmmmm.
