Identity Crisis.

Do you think it's odd that I keep changing my living room around? I think I've been doing this since, like, the third grade. I'd tell my mum I had a fever (try rubbing the thermometer between you palms and then quickly cramming it under your tongue prior to mum entering the room) and stay home from school. Eventually I would get bloody bored laying there, supposedly very ill, so I would then, quite seriously visualize a new room in my fevered mind, and then go about taking apart the room, moving the furniture into my vision. And wow - instant gratification. Loved it!

I still do it, only in perfectly fine health. It is something I've come to believe, I'll always do. It's pretty fun. I highly suggest it. As opposed to moving, which I also do just for the absolute fun of challenging myself with a new place. An expensive hobby.

Here's the latest living room. Rico feels it really opens up the room. And the sofa feels much cozier closer to the fireplace. For now.

I love your home more and more with each change. I too feel the need to change things up. I am glad I live in a single family home because often my most inspirational moments come late at night. Neighbors sharing walls would not be happy!

Cheers,
Dawn Marie

hi cavalier - i found the photo online somewhere and then printed it out on our large format printer at work. if i still have the file i can print one and send it to you if you like - i'd just charge you the same amount i have to expense at work - I think it was like $22 for printing, paper & ink. just let me know...

This has much better flow. It's ver airy and inviting.

My mom always made us rotate bedrooms when I was a kid. She loves doing that. And my cousin would rearrange her bedroom anytime she got spanked. I guess it worked off the adrenaline.

Any changes in the bathroom yet? (I think you were planning a color change?)
