Speaking of Vessels.

My genuine birch bark tube arrived from etsy shop Small Stump a few days ago and I couldn't be more pleased. And, it came packaged with such care and style, including some faux minature toadstools(!) and some fun little gift tags and cards - I just love it. So many thanks to Small Stump creators Lia Thomas and Jill Pilotte.

Oh Yes! Thanks for the link. I stayed at the SF W last week and they had big birch vases full of cherry blossoms at the welcome desk. I was mesmerized by them. Happy you showed them here!

An appaloosa vase...
A snow white and dapple grey showpiece fait de birch... What could be more beautiful?
Looks stunning!

After I saw yours several days ago I bought one too. It sits atop my brand new desk from West Elm and the outdoorsy, textured, barky look of it is a really nice contrast to the slick white desk surface--a much-needed recharge for my home office. Thanks for the tip!

I love those bark tubes and isn't it lovely when people take care with the packaging and add a little extra?
