Oh, That Wexford Girl!

I recently found out about San Francisco writer and artist Wexford Girl through my STITCH club evenings hosted by über, multi-talented Leigh Wells (now this girl can craft!). I missed an evening at STITCH where Wexford Girl, Annie Galvin was in attendance, but she wrote to me and shared her work. I immediately loved the site, and I and really loved her illustrations. Take a look at these wonderful handmade cards she's been making.

Also, check out her 3 Fish Studios, a collaborative art space she shares with her husbanc Eric for creating and sharing of art. They invite you to come by the studio to make prints, take a class, peruse their own art and prints for sale. Their latest event is a monthly gathering, LURE, held on the second Sunday of each month from 11am to 2pm. Bring breakfast goodies, mimosa makings and your creative projects and self – they'll provide the coffee! I don't know much more about this yet, but I'm going to find out - sounds like fun.

Annie also has two San Francisco shows with opening parties coming up, at the Candy Store on June 28 and The Salon on September 8. See her site for more details.
