They Called Her Servietta.

I was browsing flickr for some Sunday morning inspiration when I came across Servietta! At first glance I thought she was a sculpture! Nope, it's an amazing thrift store find from Oslo, Norway illustrator Cecilie Ellefsen. She says, "Servietta is a napkin holder made in Switzerland some time in the 1950s...I love how the napkins make up her skirt, and she is the perfect conversation piece at any dinner party." This is the coolest napkin holder I've ever seen. I feel a new hunt coming on.

Be sure and check out Cecilie's illustration work on her site, Happymeat and her lovely prints and handmade goods at her etsy shop.

I posted about my little napkin lady in response to this post and then forgot to let you know. Leigh at Found, Now Home reminded me. Here is my own fabulous napkin chick.
