Bonehead.

Okay, so I had all good intentions of writing up a storm this week (I have a bunch of new ideas and regular features for the blog coming soon!), and then I up and went to Amsterdam, stayed a day, walked around, had some really strange salad type food (do asparagus, ham, water chestnuts and celery really count as 'food'?) and then flew back to San Francisco and instead of having my normal Friday off, I worked all day and then my friend Leigh coaxed me over to her house for real food (home cooked!) and too much wine and then her husband came home and told us funny stories and now I am home and too tired to write. Sorry, sometimes you just gotta live, and write later. So, with all that said, here's a couple more photos from Amsterdam of a gallery window I saw somewhere in Jordaan. But, since at this point I'd already gone like 14 hours with just that weird salad mixture, some carrot soup and a beer, and could barely stand up straight, let alone allow my poor, tired feet to walk another minute, I can't begin to tell you what the name of the gallery was, where it was or who the artist is. It's fantastic, though, no? The good news is, it looks like the exhibit is running through December, so we have some time to figure it out.

Wow! Now that is some serious chandelier-age! It's amazing what people can dream up. Welcome back home, Victoria! Can't wait to see more pics of the whirlwind Amsterdam trip. The first pics are beautiful! Get some rest!
