Ode to My Deco: In the Pink!

Today in Part Three in my series Ode to Domino's My Deco Files I am thinking pink. I like pink mixed with lots of bright whites, and in small doses here and there. And a room infused with lots of pink can be dramatic and daring. I found some of my favorite examples of pink decor in Domino's My Deco Files and found some wonderful images. Once again, the Domino site says it's keeping the Deco Files up a few more weeks, in order to give you time to retrieve images, so download to your hearts content, but I think time is sadly running out, so you might want to make storing away Domino's My Deco Files images a priority.

What is the name of those types of shades in the last picture? Those aren't roman shades are they? I feel like roman shades have pleats.

Anon - yes - those are roman shades. :)

I keep trying to convince my husband that pink is definitely the color our kitchen needs to be. Alas. So cheery and delightful.

How to save our deco files? Just drag them to a folder on our computer?

Anon - yes - you can save them as a screen grab. I'm investigating a new software called cooliris.com to see it works on the deco files. you can download the application - it's free and save images there. i haven't fully investigated it yet, though.

I have seen the 3rd one in person! That's from my fab friend Gennifer Goodman Sohr's house. See some more of her decor here.

I did a post on pink yesterday too, and how it affects our mood etc. That bathroom also made my hit list. I LOVE it. That whole house was pretty great actually. I really liked how they used the white below all the colors in their house.
