Daytrip, Anyone?

Daytrip Society is a cool, new online shop and boutique for those inspired by the romance of nature and the adventure of travel, founded by native Mainers and ardent daytrippers Jessica Jenkins and Andy West. Daytrip Society carries a unique and varied list of independent designers and artists, including Orla Kiely, Jill Bliss, Nikki McClure and Angela Adams.

Located in Kennebunkport, Maine, Daytrip Society (I love that name!) features a unique mix of gifts, home décor, gear and hand-crafted inventory that blends modern design with the outdoors to fulfill your inner wanderlust, while also protecting the environment it celebrates. While shopping the myriad of green and organic lines Jessica and Andy carry at Daytrip Society, you can also feel good that the duo also raise awareness for and donate to local nature conservatories such as the Rachel Carson Wildlife Refuge and the Kennebunkport Conservation Trust. Shop online here, and also check out the Daytrip Society blog here.

Daytrip Society is indeed a very cute shop. Just wanted to note, however, that they are not terribly "new" at this point - I think they opened in 2007.
