Tomorrow is Another Day!

I'd hoped to get in two new posts tonight that I'm really excited to share with you. One, a visit to Emma Rose Papery's brand new and very beautiful downtown studio. And two, my day in heaven - Saturday's Bernal Heights 14th Annual Community Yard Sale. Alas, today was one of those days...I locked myself out of the office parking garage, so Coop and I walked ourselves on home. Which was no big deal, as it was a nice night and it's only a little over a mile - a lovely walk. However, we cut through Chinatown and you would have thought Cooper was my sled dog the way he hauled ass through there. It is abundantly clear, my dog does not like all the noise and confusion of Chinatown! We made it home fairly quickly, no doubt because of the power-walk pace, only to have Coop gulp down a ton of water, eat his dinner at a breakneck speed and then proceed to lose said dinner all over the white flokati rug. Why is it cats and dogs always aim for the rug? Bless his little heart! So, I've spent the last hour or so washing the flokati rug in the bathtub, which I imagine pretty much feels like swishing a dead body around, it is so darn heavy when soaking wet. Whew, one of those nights! More posts tomorrow, we're both pooped!

I feel your pain - my cat either runs to the white rug or on top of the bed before throwing up.

Yes! Always the rug! And usually the flokati, ugh. Have fun brushing it out when it's dry...

Coop is an absolute doll, though. Look at those paws! It's the cuteness factor that allows them to do stuff like barf on rugs and still sleep under the covers with us at night. :)

That really is a beautiful dog.

Coop is so pretty! I don't understand the rug thing either. Then they look up at you like "Wha..?" You feel so bad for them, and yet....

Ugh, sounds like you could use a break today. I'm Looking forward to the Bernal Heights Yard Sale post whenever you get to it. I can't believe I missed it, but friends were in town from Dublin and wanted to ride bikes across the GG bridge. They couldn't believe we live here and had never done it. It was fun, but I was secretly having yard sale yearnings. I'm sure I'll be totally envious when I see your post!

Man I wish I was coop right now...able to just pass out and fall asleep. I gotta keep running through these deadlines...how's coop on design work? Do you think when he is rested he could help me out, hehe?

dogs... gotta love 'em! one of our dogs found some nasty stuff to roll in on the weekend, and it was buckets of hot soapy water in our building's parking lot for the next half an hour. ew!
i don't like walking my dog in Toronto's chinatown because i'm afraid of all the garbage she might eat off the sidewalk.
