One Potato, Two Potato...

There once was a cute, little family living in big NYC. They were known to say, "we like to collect things, because we feel belongings tell a story...sometimes that story is about where the object came from, how it was made or who made it. Other times, it's a story about us and how the object reflects who we are, to ourselves and to others. We live by stories and we shop for stories."

This made me immediately love the family from New York City very much.

So, to share their love of collections, Janet Morales & Stu Eli decided to leave the big city. They loaded up the truck and moved to Northern Virginia with their 2 year old daughter Holly to a little house with a big yard and beautiful garden. From this happy little home they now run Three Potato Four, a really, really fabulous online shop, which like their home, is filled with things they love, and things which share a complimentary mix of modern and vintage objects.

And now, we'll all live happily ever after, because Three Potato Four is one of best new shops I've seen - it's got a great aesthetic, beautiful and unique collections and it's just inspiring to look at. Janet and Stu have put their backgrounds in the design industry to perfect use and their photo selections are sublime. I am in love, and I have to admit, I also am incredibly nervous, because I may need just about everything at Three Potato Four. Yes, I've already loaded up a cart. I must leave some for y'all, so I am showing some shred of decency and restraint, and finding it incredibly difficult.

But this is so not the end...I can't wait to see what Janet and Stu bring next to Three Potato Four. They'll be adding continuously to their vintage and new collections, so visit them often.

I love the pillows! I'm going to check out the shop now. We just bought a house and need to renovate and decorate it.

If you want to help decorate it we are doing our bathroom via blog decision. I'm setting it up now at www.completesetting.com Let me know what you think and if you have any ideas for our project.

Love the site.
