Back Stateside.

That was one whirlwind trip - arrived on Tuesday, and I'm back on Thursday! I wanted to stay so much longer in Amsterdam, but there was no room at the inn! No room at any inn, at least not one that I was able to find. So, I'm leaving with you with a small glimpse of my very small trip and will have more posted by Monday (click on these pix for a larger view). I can't wait to share the amazing Frozen Fountain shop with you (you will swoon!) and some bits of Jordaan. What a cool neighborhood! For now, I'm back among the foghorns and am ready to let them lull me back to into a San Francisco sleep.

Odd shops and bits of buildings.

Lots of nightlife, theatre and long meandering streets.

It looks beautiful there. What a great place to spend a few autumn days. Sorry it wasn't longer, but I'm still a little jealous : )

Thanks for sharing.

I am so incredibly jealous! Can't wait to see more glimpses. Aren't the bikes so cute?! I came home wanting a vintage Schwinn to repaint in stripes or stars or some crazy color!

Hi Victoria, I just got back from a trip to Phuket...if I only would have known you were going to visit Amsterdam I would have sent you some tips, but I see you have found the best spots in town yourself! The image from the Jordaan is from the street were I used to live! So fun for me to see these on your beautiful blog!
