Diana Fayt at The Candy Store - TONIGHT!

I would have posted this last night, or even hours ago, but my computer went on the fritz! Anyway, the wonderful work of Diana Fayt is showing tonight at The Candy Store. It looks so amazing!! Go, go, go! And if you can't go, check out her flickr photo set. So cool!

Diana's latest work for her upcoming show' FOLKLORE , is a series of kerchiefed old world ladies drawn, painted and collaged onto used cardboard envelopes that Diana has collected from friends from all over the world. With this work she hopes to share her love of the aged face, weathered and joyous without vanity along with the provenance of our lives woven together by time, culture and the people we come in contact with.

You can get directions to The Candy Store here.

This is one of those art shows I would just LOVE to see in person. As it is, I've been gazing at her flickr set each time a new one comes out.

Wish I were there!
