Grab a Hammer. Or, Maybe That's Just a Keyboard.

Holly at decor8 invited me to a blogger house party! She's building a virtual house and once she has all of the rooms collected from her contributors, she'll blog the whole house on decor8 later this week.

Holly gave us a bit of background on our virtual client: a young single mom, with a son living in a 18th century Georgian townhouse in Savannah Georgia...she loves to entertain, enjoys pastels and Swedish decor, decorating on somewhat of a budget...loves pattern and feminine touches but can't deal with too much clutter. I was invited to create a virtual room based on yellows, white, pastels....and as I said on Friday, my task was to build a bathroom. Here is my bathroom design (and many thanks Holly, for putting them together in one nice, pretty picture!) and links to where you can find each piece.

Above, clockwise from left to right:
A fun, funky Vintage Medicine Cabinet from Maison Reve; Anthropologie Harbor Striped Shower Curtain; Pretty yellow Bath Towels from Christy; an Anthropologie Keepsake Box to store your bits and baubles; a circular Anthropologie Fresh Cut Bath Mat; I liked this Vintage Cosmopolitan Magazine Cover to frame & hang above bath; ScandinavianDesign Center's Vipp Waste Bin and Toilet Brush; and an Anthropologie Lava Flower Hook Rack for displaying your Bath Towels or Robe.

looks great, victoria! this is the first time i've seen the description of the client, and i am so excited that by some odd coincidence the profile fits me exactly (except for the savannah, georgia bit...). i love your bathroom and can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

+1000 points for using something from Maison Reve. I want everything from there so bad it makes me sick! The salvage is incredible.

Love your picks...especially the bath mat and the hooks.

Can't wait to see the whole house!
