Lotta's Print Gym.
Lotta Jansdotter is inviting you and your friends to do some fabric printing together. Lotta has a new book out, Lotta Prints, and it's full of inspiring patterns and ideas and it looks like she's taking this printing on the road!
Lotta has carved out some of these beautiful designs in rubber and potato stamps, and is hosting a print making session at the Craft Gym in San Francisco next Saturday evening, June 7th from 5-8 pm. Craft Gym is a studio space that offers workshops and open studio time in sewing, knitting, ceramics, metals, paper, wood and textiles.
Lotta will share some simple techniques and together y'all will print on cotton fabric swatches. There will also be wine, plenty of inks and stencils and a DJ playing happy music to get inspired by. Check her site for the Brooklyn Studio print making eve on Friday, June 13th.

Thank you for the news :)
this sounds like tons of fun -- i so wish i was going to be in san francisco or brooklyn either of those days!
That's it. I'm moving back to SF so I can go, and because I miss it soooo much. That would be a great event to attend. I hope you post how fun it was so I can live vicariously through you.

I love her designs and mostly because they are not computer generated, they come from an organic place and it shows!!
