Sunday in the City.

If you kinda, sorta know me at all, and you've checked your calendar, you'll know it's the wondrous first Sunday of the month, which means, oh yup, I'm at the Alameda Flea Market. And what a gloriously sunny, and fruitful Sunday. Good finds and wonderful people watching. Runways have nothing on this fashion. Damn, I love this place. Here's some of my favorite shots from the day, as well as a few finds.

Wanton Women.

Sunday Mass.

Disco Squirrel (duh).

Monkey Business.

X-Files.

Frisco's Not Flat.

Looks wonderful! Denver's flea market is usually just full of boxes of cheap plastic crap, but yours looks so fun :) Love the combination of the x-files! That was very creative.

anon - i don't know how much that file cabinet was. too big for me to take home!

moodboard - it was good day - i got a great wicker chair (check the blog later for that post!), a cool cut glass bowl, some vintage red keds and a really great grey striped pillow made from vintage french fabric.

The past couple months I can't find anything there, but I always get kettle corn so it's not always a complete loss :)

I did see David Bromstad from Colorsplash there yesterday though, so that was neat.

Consider yourself lucky. The flea markets in New York City feel picked over. And the new one in Brooklyn just doesn't have enough "junk"!

Sunday was gorgeous here on the East Coast, so I'm glad to hear you had great Flea Market weather there too!
