Ode to My Deco: Living Room Love.

I'm getting kind of nervous...it could be getting down to the wire as to when exactly Domino Magazine will actually need to finally pull the plug on their My Deco Files. So I'm downloading like a mad woman, seeking out the best of the best in home decor. In my 11th installment of my Ode to Domino's My Deco Files I thought I'd share the room that is usually the focus of our homes - the living room, where we do, well, all our living! Many of us live in tiny apartments where the living room needs to function as more than just a spot to watch television...it's our office, our dining room, it's a catch-all of all rooms combined. Domino's Deco Files were full of some stylish and eclectic living room looks, or grand rooms as they are sometimes called these days, and I fell in love with most of them! Here's a look at living rooms.

What a diverse range, love the Eames rocker in two of them!
Victoria would you consider doing an Ode in relation to art? You have impeccable taste judging from your own gallery wall, I'd love to see what inspiring picks you might group together.

I wonder if Domino would allow the files to be served by a third party, should a third party have any interest in doing so, after they officially close shop. I don't have the capacity myself, but it seems like something someone in SF would want to do. Doesn't Google want more world domination?

Those are some great photos! I still can't get over the fact that Domino is done...so sad. Hopefully you will get everything downloaded before the website goes down.

Domino - So sad that you are going out of business. I wish you could have made it through this sucky economy. So unfair. *tears.
