Tiny Houses @ Rare Device.
If you're in the bay area, be sure and make a note: San Francisco's Rare Device is hosting a book signing for Mimi Zeiger, author of Tiny Houses tomorrow evening, Wednesday, April 8th from 6 - 8pm. Stop by for a snack and a drink, and say hello to Mimi and have your Tiny Houses book signed by the author.
Focusing on dwelling spaces all under 1,000 square feet, Tiny Houses by Mimi Zeiger aims to challenge readers to take a look at their own homes and consider how much space they actively use. Ranging from tree houses to floating houses, Tiny Houses features an international collection of over thirty modular and prefab homes, all designed to lessen one’s carbon footprint — in a literal way — each home has its own unique style, whether built from concrete, recycled wood, aluminum, metal, or indigenous materials and exemplifies the philosophy of treading lightly.

I am intrigued, I live in a house under 1,000 sq ft, just might not be as stylish as the ones featured in that lovely book. :)
sounds like a great event! wish i could be there too!
Oh I would love that book. Why do I live so far away from SF??? I must definetly visit some day. As I have posted about before - I am just in love with small houses, I have to find the book on the Web.

have to get this book...saw your post the other day & can't stop thinking about it. fabulous cover, too...
best of luck to Mimi; this is a grand addition to any bookshelf
OMG! How exciting! (Wish I could be there for the signing too!) I am utterly consumed with tiny houses! Too many years of living in a big house with rooms that went largely unused. Bring on the cozy!
(Hope all is well with you, V. Haven't forgotten about you...just uber busy these days! Mwah!)
U.B.!!!! I thought you'd abandoned me!! So nice to hear from you! xo
